myteacupislove@yahoo.ca Bio- I recently became obsessed with Harry Potter fanfiction, and now from just reading will make a foray into writing. I took a year of a hiatus, and now I'm back...(Summer '07)
- I read most fics, but love fics that either centre around Hermione or Ginny. My OTP (which I just recently found out the meaning of) is Draco/Hermione, but since coming into the crazy world of HPFF have read and loved Severus/Hermione, Harry/Hermione, Draco/Ginny, Blaise/Ginny, Weasley(s)/Hermione, Harry/Pansy, Ron/Pansy, inell's version of Adrian/Hr, shocolate's version of Ron/Hermione, Ron/Harry, Remus/Sirius, Remus/Tonks, Remus/Hermione, Sirius/Hermione, Ron/Hermione/Harry, Fred/Hermione/George...and the list continues. As long as its well written and the ship is justified in the fic, I'll enjoy it. Basically, to me, all HPFF is love.
- Having said that, it follows that since I tend to be very open-minded regarding ships and squicks/kinks/whatever, I don't like intolerance and flaming. All writers (whether I become one or not), deserve constructive criticism and appreciation. Remember, it takes a lot of guts to put your work out there.
- I am severely technologically handicapped, so if I start writing and go around begging for help, which is very likely, please be nice!
- Fluff makes me happy, angst makes me sad, and although I'm not crazy happy all the time, I'm not dark or depressed either. Therefore, most of my recs, or my fics, if I ever write any, will be based on that principle.
- I'm new, so any and all guidance and comments and advice is greatly appreciated!
- I love new friends.
- It seems I'm right in time for Strikethrough '07's repeat...what is it being called again? Bold '07? Either way, get informed about what this 'phenomenon' is: LJ censoring based on its own views, and seemingly targeting the fandom.
